Covid 19 Pandemic in Sierra Leone
Charity mission during the lock down - a regional COVID-19 relief support program in 10 regions and communities in Sierra Leone.
During the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic in Sierra Leone, communities were experiencing the effects of the pandemic and national lockdown more severely with no food and avenue to fend for themselves. Many were unable to leave their homes to work and could hardly afford to buy food. On July 10, 2020, Infinity Mind Foundation launched the "Food for All" COVID-19 Community Relief Emergency Intervention program. Through the help of our regional ambassadors, this program worked to ensure a continuous flow of food to over 10 communities in all region of Sierra Leone, that had become more vulnerable as a result of the pandemic, an effort that helped to cushion the economic hardship on people.
